I wanted to create mood for a shot video piece that was dramatic, ambient and atmospheric. I jumped on my midi-controller keyboard and generated this sound on my computer using software synths and mixed it and processed it in audacity. Useful for background music for video, or for meditation.

Since i have recently found and love this site, i figure it's about time i upload something. I have been making some meditation and relaxing music and made this thing! this was made on ableton with an instrument rack. It's a basic chord progression with a drone note. This is a small jam i recorded myself on my diy spring reverb circuit i've built for a friend. It sounds really good with music. In this session, i've only used coninuous triangle/sine/square waveforms and jammed on my for pots: input gain,hp filter cutoff, feedback amount, output gain. I'm sorry if the recording clips sometimes, but there's a big dynamic so i couldnt see how much loud it was. Feel free to take it and use it for sampling or sound design layering.

This is a very old, out of tune accordian (the tuning wavers way off key on the main notes as it plays). It might be useful for messing around with to create undertones for a horror or mystery with a rise-fall pattern. I recorded it on an se x1 large condenser mic. Completely free to use for anything. This is a recording of traffic passing on a freeway. Used the voice recorder app on my samsung galaxy phone to record this. It is an android app available on google play. After recording this i downloaded it as a wav file, then uploaded it to soundtrap. Com. An online studio where you can record and create music using pre-recorded instrumental loops. Here i altered or distorted the sound of the traffic to make it a more ambient sounding loop. Giving it a drone sounding noise.

This is another spoopy long background music type thing i've thrown together with pitch shift and time stretch and echo. This one is a bit long to sit through and feels to me like it often needs more space in it, but i have no idea what i'm doing so i'm stuck with what i've got. For background creepy mood stuff there are definitely some good 30ish second stretches in there that are different enough from each other to suit somebody somewhere though, i'm sure.
